Paul was born in Toronto.  He studied politics and philosophy at the University of Toronto, education at the University of Windsor and then headed out to Western Canada to ski and learn the law.  He graduated from the University of Alberta’s Law School in 1992. Since then he has appeared before every level of court in Ontario.  He’s a strategic litigator who thinks carefully about how best to achieve his client’s goals.  He knows how to get results quickly and cost-effectively.  Paul gives trustworthy, practical advice and responsive, professional representation.  

Paul has an active practice across a broad range of subject areas. He resolves disputes of all kinds, from his desk through negotiation and mediation and when necessary in the courts.  Paul specializes in Estate Law and Expropriations.     

Paul is committed to resolution through negotiation and mediation.  He gives honest advice on how to reduce conflict between family members in estate matters and sees the court process as a last resort. He can provide you with the guidance you need to handle the difficult emotional and legal issues that arise in estate litigation.  

Paul will accept personal injury clients (accidents; slip and falls; medical malpractice/negligence) was warranted on a contingency basis.  He is driven to help injured victims obtain financial security and rehabilitation.
